At this time of year with all the possibilities of snow and winter rain, it is important to keep your motorcycle in tip top condition. With the local councils out gritting the roads most nights, with a mixture of sand, grit and salts, it is important to keep your bike clean and protected as well.

At  Dri Wash Valeting our product range will clean, seal, polish and protect your bike all year round.

Our product range includes a product that once the painted surface has been completely stripped of all its artificial coverings, be it anything from the list below,

then a clear polymer fill is sprayed over the vehicle. The process fills in all the paint work with a clear lacquer like substance that will protect the vehicle for a minimum of a year at a time. In future anything settling onto the bike will sit on the polymer surface and not your paint work

How we clean a motorcycle

We start from the top down and clean into all the cowlings as well as the hard to reach areas of the bike. All the instrument dials, gauges and cowlings are cleaned using various valeting tools. When it comes to choppers or custom bikes all the engine area is cleaned and special attention is given any chrome work or specialist custom work. Once the main body has been completely done, the wheels and forks are given a thorough clean, the exhaust system is cleaned and we can remove heat marks if it is required, finally all leather and rubbers are restored back to their former glory.

Insect splatter removal

These marks can be an unattractive at their very least- worse case scenario, they are left and they penetrate the paint work and cause an expensive re-spray.

Bird dropping removal


This is one of the harshest elements to come into direct contact with paint work and costs vehicle users millions of pounds per year. Bird droppings as you can imagine contains, whatever the bird in question has ate that day. Most droppings contain lime and if not removed from your paint work immediately will leave a mark that will quickly penetrate your paint work.

Tree sap

There are various  types of tree sap, some leave a sticky residue on your paint work and with the correct product can be removed easily. We at Waterless have a full range of products to remove these marks from paint work, leather, vinyl as well as fabric.

Brake dust

We pay particular attention to the dreaded galvanic corrosion. In the course of normal use, particles from brake dust get on your wheels and spokes, if neglected these non-compatible metals will react to one another, creating galvanic corrosion and produce pitting on your wheels. This results in an expensive repair or even in a worse case, replacement.

De- oxidising

UV rays are harmful to paint work in general. Manufacturers spend millions of pounds every year trying to find an answer to this problem. We at Dri Wash valeting feel that the problem arises from the fact that the UV rays react with the waxes used on various types of paint work. With our system the wax and anything that has attached itself to the vehicle is completely removed from the paint work. Take away the cause and the result should be no more oxidised paint.

Leather treatment

We clean all the leather on your bike, from the seat and backrest to the saddle bags if required. Our leather product not only cleans the surface, it also feeds and keeps it supple, this will keep the leather from drying out and cracking.
Rubber trim

We use a non-slip blackener on such items as pedals and foot plates. Important that a non-slip cleaner is used as one that makes you slip off a pedal at speed can be a major problem.
